I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Varieties of Democracy Institute (V-DEM) at the University of Gothenburg and Associate Editor of Representation, a Journal of Representative Democracy.

From 2015 to 2016 I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Sciences Po Paris working in the project Pathways to Power, which investigates the representation of citizens of immigrant origin across European democracies. Previously I was a Marie Curie Fellow at the University of Mannheim, I worked with the Electoral Integrity Project (Harvard University – University of Sydney),  the Manifesto Project (WZB Berlin Social Science Center), the Humboldt University Berlin, the Argentine Election Study, the European Commission and the Center for Research in Economics and Statistics (CREST). Also, I was a visiting researcher at the European University Institute, the WZB Berlin Social Science Center,  the Chair of the Planning Committee of the Comparative Study of Electoral Systems (CSES) at the University of Montréal, the University of Oxford, and Sciences Po Paris.

I completed my doctoral dissertation in 2015 at the University of Mannheim. In my thesis I investigated the behavior of immigrant voters, the strategies adopted by political parties and political representation in European Multicultural Democracies.
